Under the Table Hammock
Summer break is so much fun but sometimes can lack enough excitement. The boys get bored very easily if we aren’t going 99 mph every day. So I have searched pinterest for the best ideas to keep them busy. This is the first of many.
I took 2 old sheets and tied them together very tightly on one end. I wrapped it around the dining room table and tied the other end snugly. I tied it fairly high from the ground and close to the table top to leave room for the weight of the child loosening the knot and it sagging a bit lower. Trace literally spent over 6 hours in this. He used it as a swing of course but then used it as a hammock as he played with his toys and leap pad. I even made a second one beside it for Gavin. This was a winner and I highly recommend it for rainy days or lazy days to pass the time!
