Easton’s Owl Party- Look Whoo’s 1!
Easton’s 1st birthday party was just a simple low key owl themed party . I enlisted some help the day before from Gavin and Trace who helped me make some of the owls for the centerpiece. They also helped me punch out all of the owl parts and put together the bags for the kids craft. I bought iron on appliques and made Easton a 1st birthday owl shirt and then a friend embroidered his name and Bible verse on it.
The food table was decorated with a white table cloth and a small baby blue one over it. The centerpiece is a branch I cut from the back yard and added owls to. I put it in a glass jar in the middle of the table. I sprinkled owl and blue flower confetti around the table and had a meat and cheese tray and cupcakes. I put out owl plates, napkins, and baby blue cutlery.
The punch table consisted of blue punch made from a big jug of blue Hawaiian Punch, a 2 liter of Sprite, and a carton of pineapple sherbert spooned on top. I had owl cups and napkins with it.
The Birthday Boy had his chair decorated with a banner and a plastic guard underneath and 2 balloons on the back.
When the kids got there they sat at the table and made an owl to hang on the owl tree. They got to take them home when they left. There was a choice of a boy owl or girl owl.
Happy Birthday Time! We sang ♪♫ Happy Birthday♪♫ to him and he looked like this…
His cake was a $4 mini cake from Wal-Mart ( I do things real big around here ☺) with the #1 on top. He dug right in…
Gift Time!! We just let him crawl around on the floor for this. He wouldn’t have sat still in a chair anyway!
AND THE REST IS HISTORY…
